What’s happening next
Ready Nepal is currently in its start-up phase. Between now and mid-2027, our focus is on building the foundations that will enable us to deliver meaningful, locally led programmes for years to come.
Our first priority is to establish Ready Nepal Organisation in Nepal. From August 2026, trustees Joe and Amandine will spend several months in Nepal supporting this process, meeting with local organisations and communities, helping establish the organisation and prepare the foundations for future programmes.
As Ready Nepal Organisation becomes established, our next priorities will include:
- Completing our governance, policies and procedures.
- Developing the Return Ready Nepal Programme.
- Building partnerships with local organisations and stakeholders.
- Launching our first fundraising activities.
We believe that investing time in building strong foundations today will allow us to create lasting, sustainable impact for the communities we hope to support in the future.
